"Feature Teacher" is a recurring column in Teaching Young Children (TYC) magazine that highlights the work and perspective of a single educator. During the COVID-19 pandemic, NAEYC introduced a special edition of this feature, spotlighting four teachers who each navigated unique challenges and successes as they transitioned—through trial and error—to virtual teaching and learning.
I was tasked with designing the layout for this special issue, visually showcasing the stories of these four educators in a way that honored their resilience, creativity, and adaptability during an unprecedented time in early childhood education.
